Beyond the Classroom

We believe that learning extends far beyond classroom walls. Helen Detwiler students have access to a variety of enriching extra‑curricular opportunities, including clubs and activities that promote friendship, creativity, cultural learning, and school spirit. Examples include our Friendship Club, Reading Club, Choir, Oware Club, and participation in sports such as hockey and soccer. These experiences help students build confidence, explore interests, and strengthen their sense of belonging within our school community.
